The Body Code

So... I've a newfound passion. Kent bought a book a few months ago. He finally read it and started trying out some of the things taught in the book. The book is called the Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson. To be honest, it was just too "out there" for me. I know! Crazy! I'm one of the nuttiest people I know and I'm pretty open to new ideas and therapies that are "natural". But the theories in this book were just a little tough to swallow at first.

Then I started seeing results, AMAZING results. Like we did some "releasing" with Josh and he went from needing 3-4 breathing treatments a night, to 1 or 2 a week. After everything that we have tried to help him with his asthma, (herbal supplements, dietary changes, parenting styles, etc.) this was what made the biggest difference? To actually be able to hear him laugh or run without it ending in a coughing fit and needing a breathing treatment, was something I had only wished might happen. I had to admit it was pretty amazing.

I finally decided to read the book. It teaches how to utilize muscle-testing to connect to a person's subconscious. I'd heard of muscle testing, but only in a sense of determining physical issues, such as allergies, proper dosing of supplements, etc. This book, however, goes into the realm of "trapped emotions". The idea being that when we feel an extremely strong emotion (usually a negative one), sometimes the remnants of that emotion become trapped as energy inside our bodies. This trapped energy causes imbalance in our physical bodies. This, of course, can contribute to pain and makes us more susceptible to disease.

It took me a while to feel confident in my own testing ability, and I found as I located these "trapped emotions" that the physical pain I was experiencing went away. Now normally, a woman who is going on 8 months pregnant (especially at age 37, and it being her sixth pregnancy) is going to be, at least, mildly uncomfortable. I'm not! I feel great! What??? Isn't that supposed to be impossible, against the laws of physics or something? But it's true. I do have aches and pains, but generally it's because of an emotional issue and when I find it and release it, the pain just disappears.

Kent and I have seen such amazing results with not only our family, but also with other people that we know that have tried this. Kent and I decided we had to learn more about this Dr. Nelson, a Chiropracter that lives in St. George (who also happens to be LDS), and what exactly his Body Code seminars were all about. This is a complete program to not only find and release trapped emotions with the help of muscle testing, but also to find imbalances within the body itself. For example, this might be a structural issue with the back being misaligned, causing a nerve to malfunction, thereby causing the kidney to be out of balance, which then causes pain in the lower back. The original misalignment of the back could be caused by something emotional or is simply structural and needs to be realigned to give relief. The point is that a person's subconscious knows exactly what is wrong, you just have to know the right questions to ask. The Body Code is what aids you in knowing the proper questions to ask.

So my new obsession is becoming certified in the Emotion Code and the Body Code. In the last 2-3 weeks, I've already completed well over 40 sessions with people that have allowed me the privilege of testing them. Together, we've been able to have them leave with allergic reactions subsided, back pain gone, shoulder pain relieved, migraines that have disappeared, and a with a feeling of being more emotionally balanced. All of these things were accomplished with nothing more than muscle testing, a set of magnets and whole lot of faith in God and the power of love. I know I sound like a nut. Two months ago, I would have said this was all to good to be true, but God is good and I know it's with faith in Him that all of this is accomplished.

I've debated for a while whether or not to even share this on my blog. It just sounds crazy, I know! But, I guess I'm to the point that it's just one of those things that I can't NOT share, or I would feel selfish and really guilty for not sharing something that has made my life so much better. The relief from physical pain isn't the greatest miracle for me. It's the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being that I am now experiencing, and I know that it's not a temporary thing.

So if any of you want to climb a little into the crazy tree with me (it's got a great view I tell ya!) the book is called the Emotion Code written by Dr. Bradley Nelson. If you do read it, I'd love to hear what you have to think about it ;-)

***UPDATE: 3/16/11- I just got got certified in the Emotion Code!

Found your blog a while ago through Latter-day Homeschooling, if I remember correctly, and I LOVE it. :) It's always been heartening, so I wanted to (finally) leave a comment here for this post, because I know how tough it is to post (or discuss) these sorts of things (and also how nice it is to find an open heart/ear/whatever).

I'm already at least half-way up a lot of the same crazy trees, LOL (and I'm getting more comfortable with the view... ;) ), because I've seen the difference that non-conventional treatments have made in my life, among other things. I just ordered the book from Amazon, and I'll have to let you know how things go for us!

I'm so glad you and your family are finding such awesome relief!!! :) And THANK YOU for sharing such neat (and unconventional) progress! :)

Thanks for your kind words, Krista. It's nice to know at least one person might benefit from my being up the crazy tree ;-)

Just found your blog at lds homeschooling. I have a good friend who suggested Dr Bradley's work. I have the body code and he has the emotion code online for free (or he had it available). I have tried some, but can't tell it it has worked or not. I have some back problems so it might be that. ANyways, "nice to meet you". I hope you check out my blog we have some similar interests : )
