I had to share another triumph! A friend of ours broke out in a crazy rash that they originally believed was shingles. I printed out some info for her and took her a bag of herbs for treatment, as well as the most amazing ointment in the world (BF&C ointment). The treatment would be to bathe in as hot of water as she could stand to draw out as much of the toxins as possible. I then told her to make a tea with the herbs (mullein and lobelia), soak a cloth with it and leave it on her skin for several hours, it would also help draw out toxins. She said she used the ointment only when the itching would be really severe (trying to make the ointment last as long as possible). BF&C also helps to draw out toxins. She discussed the hot baths with her doctor and he thought it strange, but she did it anyway.![]()

After testing they discovered that the rash was not due to shingles, but what did cause it, they didn't know. Her skin on her face was raised and purple. She finally went to a dermatologist and he immediately knew it was due to a severe allergic reaction to some chemicals she had worked with. This is what she had thought might be the cause, but the other doctors didn't attribute it to the chemicals because it took a week for the rash to show up after the exposure. The Dermatologist then told her to thank me for saving her life, because the hot baths and things to draw out the toxins through the skin were the only thing that would have helped. Her reaction had become so severe by the time she saw him (starting to affect her lungs) that her entire body was getting ready to shut down. The hot baths and herbs had given her body more time to deal with the toxins, without them her body would have shut down sooner.
All I can say is, WOW. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have that can make a difference in people's lives. The truth is, that God has made us wonderful plants and natural ways to heal ourselves. It makes me sad that we have strayed so far from knowing how to use the tools God has given us and how to treat ourselves holistically. My wish is that everyone would know how to treat themselves and their children. Taking these herbal classes has changed our family's life drastically for the better and I couldn't be more grateful to God for that.

That's pretty interesting. I'm glad that you've taken the herbal class!
That's great! Where can we find the ointment you recommended?
Wow! I need to learn more about herbs. What I do know makes a big difference in our lives, but there is so much more to know. What classes have you been taking?
Hi! I just saw your post on LDS Homeschooling. I have been wanting to learn about natural healing for some time now. But it seems that there is just too much info online. It can be over whelming when you don't know where to start. My area doesn't have classes, what would you recommend as a starting point in learning about natural healing? Maybe you could do a post about recommendations and links to learning about natural healing. Unless you already have... I haven't gotten that far into your blog. :)
Thanks for posting this story!
