Now that the winter is over...

I'd thought I'd share some the pictures that we took of the winter months here in Montana. Especially now that it's looking more like spring and the snow has melted! Kent took this out of the sunroom window. That's not snow on the tree. It's hoar frost. I remember seeing hoar frost a lot on my mission in Hungary, but I never knew what it was called. When I see it here, it's the only time I think winter is truly pretty. Mostly, I just want it to be warmer than 0 degrees.Abby took these ones of the hoar frost one morning.I took this one by the tennis courts at the university one morning. I stopped the van in the middle of the road. Everything was white and sparkly as far as you could see.

This last one is out of Abby's window. Icicles are another worthwhile part of winter. As we drive by houses here, we always look to see who has the longest icicles.
